Winterfest "Fire & Ice Festival"

This Martin Luther King holiday weekend, the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 25th annual Lake Chelan Winterfest Festival.  Our charming small town is transformed in to a winter paradise for the annual weekend-long event.  Marvel at the outdoor gallery of ice sculptures created by many talented Northwest sculptors. 

Always a Winterfest tradition, visitors will enjoy sleigh rides throughout Historic Downtown Chelan, which has been transformed in to a winter playground with ice skating and other snow games.  After a day in the snow, head to the Ice Lounge and enjoy hours of incredible music or warm up with a bowl of homemade chili and hot drinks around a fire pit.  Take a stroll through charming downtown and taste many of the local wines at the 2nd annual Winterfest Wine Walk.  The weekend festivities continue on Sunday with a snow sculpting competition, more music and conclude with the annual “Fire and Ice” themed torchlight parade, our gigantic beach bonfire and a dazzling fireworks show on Sunday evening (new day!).
